Periodically the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), as part of its quality assurance efforts, reviews the status of its long-term disability cases. This type of review has traditionally been contacted by the assigned Claims Examiner by ensuring that current medical evidence supporting the level of entitlement, recently completed CA1032 and any additional factual evidence needed to support continuing entitlement.  In the Boston District Office a new review has started by the selection of cases to be reviewed by an OWCP Claims Review Representative (CRR) will meet with claimants in furtherance of this quality assurance review process.  Selected claimants are to contact the CRR to arrange an appointment that is convenient for them to attend.  At the meeting the claimants will be able to discuss their medical condition(s), recuperative efforts and progress, and any other concerns they may have regarding their workers' compensation claim.  The meeting is being scheduled to take about an hour of your time.
